"We live in a society exquisitely dependent
on science and technology, in which
hardly anyone knows anything
about science and technology."

— Carl Sagan

The Rockville Science Center is committed to helping curious minds of all ages explore the world of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). We love having fun doing science, but we also take seriously the responsibility of helping to develop the next generation of scientists. Through our science programs for all ages and our interactive science center, we work to cultivate a sense of inquiry, discovery, wonder and understanding of the scientific foundations of everyday life.
