Join other Rockville Science Center members as we get a tour of the National Electronics Museum. From telegraph and radio to radar and satellites, the National Electronics Museum offers visitors access to the electronic marvels that have helped to shape our country and our world.
Located within minutes of Baltimore’s BWI-Thurgood Marshall Airport and the BWI Rail Station, the museum offers a wide variety of both static and interactive displays, as well as a research library that is open to the general public, with holdings that focus on all aspects of electronics history.
Museum Hours: The National Electronics Museum is open from 9 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday, and 10 am to 2 pm on Saturdays.
Admission: is $ 5.00 for adults, $ 3.00 for students and seniors. Kids 5 and under are free.
Visitors under 16 must be accompanied by a supervising adult at all times while at the museum unless attending a summer camp/workshop with prior written permission from parent or guardian.
A GPS is a wonderful thing. You might want to use one.
If coming from Rockville you might want to take the intercounty Connector (MD200).
– ICC (MD 200) to Interstate 95. (MD 200 is a toll road)
– Interstate 95 to Route 295 North (Baltimore Washington Parkway)
– Exit 43A to 100E and MD 295 N to West Nursery Road exit, stay right on ramp.
– Go through three stoplights.
– Museum is on the left, next to the Marriott Hotel
