Dr. Pidugu is a post-doctoral fellow at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Maryland Baltimore School of Medicine. Her research interests focus on structural studies for understanding enzymatic mechanisms involved in Base excision and the DNA repair pathway, which play a key role in DNA methylation, and altering the activity of these proteins in an effort to aid in cancer treatment. Come visit the Rockville Science Center's exhibit at Rockville Hometown Holidays on Saturday and Sunday, 2-6pm. We will have a LEGO robot demonstrating the issues with driverless vehicles. Kid will have the opportunity to make and launch straw rockets. You can also check up on our effort to establish facilities in Rockville.
