Rockville Science Center
The Rockville Science Center is an interactive space for ALL AGES to come and experience hands-on learning and connect with the scientific community. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and are sustained by grants from the City of Rockville and other local entities, sponsorships from area scientific organizations and donations from our visitors.

Our programs operate out of two spaces, both conveniently located in Rockville Town Square. Most of our classes are run from our storefront location at 36C Maryland Ave, Rockville. We also have a makerspace at 33F Maryland Ave, right across the street. Want to know more? Contact us!
Mission
The mission of the Rockville Science Center
is to inspire a passion for lifelong exploration
of science for our diverse community.
Through our programs, and our interactive
science center, we work to cultivate a sense of inquiry, discovery, wonder and understanding of the scientific foundations
of everyday life.
A Place for All Ages
The joy of learning and discovery isn't limited
to the young. The Rockville Science Center
offers programs for all ages from
elementary school-age children
to senior citizens.
