Afterschool Engineering Marvels: 6-week program (ages 7-12)

Join us for this 6-week afterschool program for ages 7-12

Dates: Tuesdays, 5:00 - 6:30 PM (February 25, March 4, 11, 18, 25, April 1)

Students will learn about forces seen and unseen - forces that hold bridges and spin DC motors, fire rockets into space and fly airplanes and drones. They'll explore different types of engineering – mechanical, aeronautic, chemical, electronic, and civil. They will develop their engineering skills by building electromagnetic motors, bridges, catapults, and pulleys. Then they will defy gravity and build bridges and gliders.

• Register for more than 1 class and/or a sibling and receive 10% discount

• Financial assistance is available if your child is eligible for benefits such as FARMS, Medicaid or SNAP.  You can register for the RSC scholarship to get a 50% discount on class fees.  Please email a copy of your documentation within 7 days to achacon@rockvillesciencecenter.org.
