About the event
A five-week afterschool program on Tuesdays, 5:00 - 6:30 PM
Dates: April 22, 29, May 6, 13, 20
Ages: 8-12
Students will be working with the microcontroller Arduino to learn electronic circuits & build an autonomous car.
Students will learn C++ language to program an Arduino to control LEDs, ultrasound sensor, servo motors, DC motors and an H-bridge. They will also learn about electrical circuits and how to use a soldering iron. Then, they will put all that knowledge together and build an “Autonomous Car” that can avoid obstacles and drive through a maze. At the end of the course, students will be able to bring the car home to continue developing their programming skills.
Price for this class ($195) includes the cost of the Arduino project materials ($35). Any discounts (see below) will be calculated based on the instructional fee ($160).
