Join us for a tour of Integrated Pharma Services (IPS) laboratory. IPS is a women-owned contract research organization located in Rockville. At the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, with support from the state of Maryland, IPS expanded its services to include manufacturing protective face masks. IPS, with its unique position in the mask manufacturing industry, is probably the only US mask manufacturer born out of a laboratory with many years of scientific experience in fighting infectious diseases. Their fully equipped laboratories maintain an elaborate biorepository of viral, bacterial and fungal agents including antibiotic-resistant clinical isolates. IPS clients range from small to multi-billion-dollar companies.
