About the event

What is coding? How can we use it to make the world a better place? Girls in grades 2-5 are invited to join the Rockville Science Center for our Girls in STEM Coding Workshop where they can learn Scratch coding using our Lego Robotics kits. Participants will have time to build two projects and use coding to create movement and sounds. This is an fun, easy introduction to coding and no experience is necessary.


NOTE: This event is open to all girls in grades 2-5. Girl Scouts who attend will fulfill the requirements for the Coding Badge.
