Marvelous Makers (6-week series)

Ages: 7-12

Dates: Wednesdays, 5:00 - 6:30 PM (January 10, 17, 24, 31, February 7 & 14) 

Each week, students will have the opportunity to explore different ways of making their own creative designs through hands-on learning and some science mixed in, too! You'll learn how to use tools such as a 3D printer and a laser cutter/engraver, and also create projects using everyday materials you probably already have at home. Come be a maker at the Rockville Science Center! All materials and supplies are provided by RSC. For the laser engraving project, students are invited to bring in a wood cutting board or other special piece (maximum size: 8" x 11.8"). They can also choose to engrave their design on any of the materials we have available.
