Spring Break Science Adventures (ages 8-12)

Dates: March 25, 26, 27, 28, and 29

Monday - Friday, 9 - 4 pm

Age: 8 - 12

Join us for five full-days of fun and hands-on learning. Students should bring a bag lunch and a drink. Our morning Tech Wizards program will take place from 9:00 am - noon. We'll break for an hour from noon - 1:00 pm to eat lunch and relax. Then, from 1:00 - 4:00 pm, we'll roll up our sleeves to tackle some exciting maker projects. NEW: We are now accepting half day registrations. Be sure to select that option during registration.

Mornings - Tech Wizards

Throughout this series, students will be working on two technical projects: an Arduino car and Raspberry Pi projects. Join us as we learn tons of skills to build an autonomous car and twick python programs to modify games like simon and space invaders.

Arduino Projects (Electronic Circuits & Autonomous Car)

Learn C++ language to program an Arduino to control LEDs, ultrasound sensor, servo motors, DC motors. 

Learn electrical circuits and how to use a soldering iron. 

Then, put all that knowledge together to build an “Autonomous Car” that can avoid obstacles and drive through a maze. 

At the end of the program, you can take the car home.

Raspberry Pi projects, learn Python programming to control electrical circuits and twick/ play games like simon and space invaders
