Classes & Programs
Welcome Makers!
Welcome to the Rockville Makerspace, a place for all ages to come together and build, learn and create. We offer a wide variety of tools and the space for you to work on projects, collaborate with other makers, and learn new skills. This is a community-driven space where your ideas can become reality.
Each week we offer two Open Project Times where anyone is welcome to stop by to work on a project or collaborate with other makers:
- Tuesdays, 6:00-8:00 PM
- Saturdays, 12:00-4:00 PM
The Makerspace also hosts the MocoMakers on Thursday nights from 6:00-8:00 PM. All are welcome to participate in their events.

- Sun, Feb 16Rockville Makerspace and Tool LibraryGet experience with the craft of joining copper and brass wires using a soldering iron. Learn how to safely set up your work and soldering. The skills will be aimed at simple electronics, but can also be used for light sculpture work or making jewelry. Ages 16+

New skills that will be taught in this beginner’s workshop include making a magic ring/circle, joining new colors, and using jump rings and needle nose pliers. Ages 11-adult
