Not sure how to get started at the Makerspace?
Join us for Open Project Time:
Tuesdays, 6:00-8:00 PM
Saturdays, 12:00-4:00 PM
Perhaps the best way to experience the Makerspace for the first time is during "Open Project Time." We currently offer this drop-in time on Tuesdays from 6:00 - 8:00 PM and Saturdays from 12:00 - 4:00 PM. Anyone from the community is welcome to use the facility at no cost during this time. Bring a signed waiver and a project you're working on or simply stop by to chat and learn more. There's no charge and no need to reserve a space.
The Makerspace also hosts the MoCo Makers on Thursday nights from 6:00-8:00 PM. All are welcome to participate in their events (see below for more info).

Want to reserve the Makerspace for your group or access our facility outside of these hours? Learn more here.

Join our Community of Makers!
The Makerspace is so much more than a room with a bunch of tools! We are a community of people with a wide variety of interests and skills. Want to tackle a project but need some help getting started? Maybe you have a skill that you'd like to share with others either one-on-one or as part of a class. Perhaps you have some free time and can volunteer to help keep the Makerspace tools organized and in good working shape. Here are just a few of the ways you can be a part of our community of makers:
-
Requests & Offers Boards - a great way to exchange information about assistance needed, surplus materials, training, volunteer opportunities, and special projects for non-profits and community groups. Look for the two corkboards near the Makerspace entrance.
-
Tool Team - Do you love a well-organized set of wrenches, a freshly sharpened chisel, or the smell of WD40? We're looking for interested adults and high school student volunteers to help us maintain and organize our growing collection of hand and power tools.
-
Teach a Class or Workshop - Have an idea for an awesome class we could offer at the Makerspace? We'd love to talk to you about how you might share your skills with our community of makers.
